In 1959 the Williams Grove Historic Steam Engine Association (WGHSEA) was established. The association has evolved from the original membership of 24 to the present 1,700 members.

In early 2007 the association acquired the land that it has resided on since it's founding. The first new project for the association was establishing a large farmers market and flea market on the grounds. The market fills a void for a former large Sunday market in the Harrisburg region that closed in the last few years.

There is ample parking for consumers, and more then 250 vendor spots (15'X30') and will expand as needed. The market is held every Sunday and operates year round (hours from dawn until 2:00pm). All proceeds benefit WGHSEA for the preservation of the grounds. Reserved spaces are available. Information may be obtained by calling 717-697-9684 or 717-766-4001.
